District 2-13 Office
District 2 encompasses many diverse neighborhoods in Manhattan including the East Village, Flatiron, Gramercy Park, Rose Hill, Kips Bay, Murray Hill and Lower East Side. The district has a diverse population of potential voters and is very politically active.
The district’s staff – from offices in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA; Lanham, MD; Glen Allen, VA; and Charleston, WV – are dedicated to fighting for working families.
About Us
District 2 is comprised of the neighborhoods in and around San Francisco’s Marina, Pacific Heights, Presidio Heights, Cathedral Hill, Laurel Village and North of the Panhandle (NOPA). These communities have strong and active neighborhood organizations, historic homes and high numbers of stable families. Supervisor Stefani works to ensure that these areas are safe, that our neighborhood small businesses thrive and that good governance is in place.
District 2 also has one of the highest percentages of white, affluent families in the city — a constituency that is likely to fight hard to preserve access to some of the most sought-after schools in the system. Many parents in the district pay top dollar for homes that are zoned to those schools, and have shown a great deal of patience over changes in school admissions policies over the years. But they may be ready to move on if the system can’t get its act together.
Office Locations
District 2 serves 27 East Central Georgia counties. Four of the counties in the district are included in the top ten largest counties in the state: Burke, Laurens, Emanuel and Washington. The district’s northern and northwest boundaries are adjacent to District 1’s boundary and its southern and southwestern boundary is on the Atlantic Ocean. The district includes the towns of Merritt Island, Cocoa, Rockledge and Cape Canaveral. Notable locations in the district include Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, Banana River and Sykes Creek. The district is home to many businesses and communities which support the local economy, including: aerospace, tourism and recreation. The district also includes a number of military facilities. Staff Profiles
Kimberly has been with the district since 2007 and helps out in scheduling, administrative multitasking and general office management. She has a varied work history including clerical pool worker, cleanroom assembler, mail carrier and phone operator and enjoys her job in the office. In her spare time, she enjoys kite flying, bocce ball, billiards and dog sitting.
Lucas is the Policy & Legislative Analyst and handles issues relating to Code Enforcement, VTA, Public Works, Land Use and Pensions. He has a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University. He is involved in several neighborhood associations and volunteers with the League of Women Voters local government observation corps.
Oklahoma County District 2 serves the communities of Bethany, Choctaw, Harrah, Nichols Hills, Valley Brook, Warr Acres and Woodlawn Park along with areas of eastern and western Oklahoma City. This area encompasses more than 1.9 million people who travel 43.2 million miles on the state highway system each day.

District 2 has some of the highest-performing and most popular schools in the city, and many families pay top dollar to live in its wealthy neighborhoods. But the district also has one of the highest shares of white students in the city, and residents here are especially concerned about preserving their access to the system’s best schools.
